Glass on the Lake was born from a desire to simplify without sacrificing style; a fresh, ultra-contemporary home designed for clients ready to downsize while upgrading how they live. From the start, the focus was on creating a space that felt intentional, functional, and perfectly tuned to their lifestyle. While the footprint is more compact than their previous home, every inch was thoughtfully considered to feel open, elevated, and easy to move through.
PALETTE
To balance the crisp architecture, we layered in warmth through rich wood tones and natural stone, giving the home depth, texture, and soul. These materials soften the contemporary lines and bring a sense of lived-in comfort.
SPACE
Glass plays a starring role throughout the home, reinforcing the modern aesthetic while visually expanding the space and pulling the lake views straight into daily life. Those transparent walls create a constant connection to the surrounding water, making the home feel calm, immersive, and ever-changing with the light.
